SMCO EMPLOYEES KENDRA DOCKHAM AND DOUG ENGLEHART PROMOTED TO DIRECTOR

June 1, 2017 – Smith Marion & Company is pleased to announce that Kendra Dockham, CPA and Douglas Englehart, MSA, CPA have each been promoted to Director within the firm.

Directorship within the firm will allow Kendra and Doug to extend their professionalism and expertise into a managerial role, helping others in the firm to become more adept in the services that we provide. The decision to promote the two was made by the partners in what they believe to be a “new avenue for growth and leadership cultivation at Smith Marion and Company.”

Kendra Dockham, CPA has been with the firm for five years, specializing in non-profit and governmental reporting requirements. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from CSU San Bernardino in 2011 with a concentration in Accounting. Two years later, she received her CPA license and has since repeatedly demonstrated her abilities as both an auditor and a manager.

She is, “excited for the opportunity to grow and contribute more to the firm,” and believes that the promotion is a strong indicator of the firm’s growth potential in the coming years.

Douglas Englehart, MSA, CPA has been with the firm for five years, specializing in Housing and Urban Development (HUD), housing authorities, and governmental entities. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from CSU San Bernardino in 2013, receiving his Master of Science in Accountancy. He earned his CPA license a year later. Doug currently operates out of our Tennessee office, where he dedicates his time and abilities to the Department of Housing and Urban Development, among providing audit services to a variety of other industries.

Smith Marion and Company is excited to see Kendra and Douglas fulfil their roles in their new positions, and extends a warm congratulations to each of them for their strong work ethic and continually positive results.
